Hace frío y eso es noticia. Por eso he preparado esta batería de imágenes llegadas al concentrador estos días. Son imágenes de recurso que dan pie al fotoperiodista a reflexionar un poco, componer o a dar un simple paseo por la nieve haciendo unas fotos.

Estos post temáticos reflejan bastante bien lo que es en esencía la edición gráfica. Buscar y elegir para un espacio ciertas fotografías para ilustrar una información o una historía.

Estas fotos las encontré tecleando en el concentrador "nieve" para encontrar las fotos de Efe y "snow" para encontrar las de las agencias extranjeras. Guardé una primera selección en una carpeta con unas 30 fotos. Mientras preparaba con Photoshop las fotos para poder subirlas al blog deseché unas cuantas más, las ordené y saqué de la info el pie de foto.

Estoy librando y mañana he quedado para una sesión de fotografía retro con un amigo. Vamos a revelar en casa unos carretes de blanco y negro que tiene. Es algo que no hago desde hace mucho tiempo. Así que tendré que desempolvar mi tanque de revelado, las espirales, el termómetro y las probetas. Hay mucha gente que es aficionada a la fotografía pero que empezó con una cámara digital y no sabrá de que hablo. Intentaré hacer unas fotos y contar un poco como es el trabajo de laboratorio fotográfico. Algo demasiado artesanal para los tiempos que corren en el fotoperiodismo.

Un acertijo... Una de las fotos no fue hecha y enviada por el servicio para ilustrar la información de la ola de frío. ¿Cuál es?

Termino la serie con estas dos imágenes de la Isla de Mallorca a la que tengo mucho cariño.

Comentaba el otro día con Jon como estos temas del temporal pueden hacer que el fotógrafo o fotógrafa (como es el caso de las fotos de Mallorca) puede convertirse en noticia. Algo parecido a lo de Cendón o lo del fotógrafo de Reuters. Vas a hacer unas fotos de camiones parados en una carretera cortada por la nieve y terminas incomunicado y pasando la noche en tu coche.

El acertijo... La foto del logo de Volkswagen del coche helado se envió para ilustrar un tema de economía. Pero en realidad hay trampa...La foto del Bavaro tampoco fue enviada por la ola de frío. Ilustra una carrera tradicional de trineos. Supongo que debería incluir en los tags del post economia y cultura. De todas maneras el resto de fotos pueden valer para ilustrar otros temas ¿no? La del mono y la del ciervo, si nos ponemos finos, tampoco valen para el tema del temporal... Añadiré ciencias a los tags.
