Mañana se decidirá en la contrareloj de Grenoble quién será el ganador de este Tour de Francia 2011. Pero tras la magnífica etapa de ayer con final en Alpe d’Huez, en la que Contador no consiguió remontar lo perdido con respecto a Andy Schleck, parece que el luxemburges se llevará el triunfo este año en la ronda francesa. De la misma manera que en 2009 conté “Un día en el Tour de Francia” con imágenes de la etapa reina, este año he decidido reconstruir un día en el Tour con las mejores fotografias enviadas por las agencias en este Tour de France 2011. Espero que os gusten.

Ayer noche la selección japonesa levantó el trofeo de campeona del mundo de fútbol femenino tras vencer en la tanda de penaltis a la seleccion de Estados Unidos. Es curioso que las selecciones finalistas no hayan cosechado grandes resultados en este deporte en su sección masculina… también llama la atención que selecciones como la española, campeona en varias categorias con los chicos, ni siquiera se clasificara para el campeonato celebrado en Alemania. Supongo que España es futbolera pero solo cuando son los hombres los que golpean el balón.

Un Wimbledon sin raquetas

Este fin de semana se jugará la final del prestigioso y mítico torneo de tenis de Wimbledon que se celebra en este club de la ciudad de Londres. En el momento que escribo este post aun no sabemos si Rafa Nadal jugará la final. Pero en este caso nos da un poco lo mismo ya que me he propuesto hacer este post sobre tenis sin prestar atención a los tenistas y a sus raquetas. En estas imágenes encontraréis la cara oculta del torneo del All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club de Wimbledon. Los pasillos de la pista central, el público bajo la lluvia, los recoge pelotas, los jueces, las fresas con nata y hasta los encargados de medir la altura del cesped. Este es el Wimbledon que gira al rededor de los jugadores y sus raquetas.
