La agresión sufrida por el consejero de Cultura de Murcia, Pedro Alberto Cruz, es una salvajada. Punto y aparte. No cabe ningún pero, ningún matiz. Tolerancia cero a cualquier tipo de violencia. Da igual que los cabestros autores de la paliza pertenezcan a un grupo de ultraizquierda, de ultraderecha o del centro nacional por la salvación eterna. Caiga sobre ellos todo el peso de la ley, sean militantes de un grupo organizado o tres hooligans en versión murciana. No importa el parentesco del señor Cruz con el presidente autonómico que le nombró para el cargo. Ni que los golpes se propinaran con un puño americano o con el gato de un coche.
Se podrá vocear, proclamar en cinco idiomas que la barbaridad cometida en Murcia no tiene justificación posible. Da igual: la derecha política y mediática decidió con una celeridad desconocida que la responsabilidad de lo ocurrido era de los socialistas y de la "pasividad" del delegado del Gobierno y del Ministerio del Interior. ¿Acaso el agredido había denunciado sus presuntos temores? ¿Habían solicitado Cruz o su presidente, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, protección especial por sentirse amenazados? ¿Es obligación de Interior actuar motu proprio para garantizar la seguridad total de cualquier cargo público insultado o incluso injuriado? La respuesta es no. Sí es responsabilidad de todos los políticos no alimentar la crispación ni manipular una salvajada para manchar las siglas del adversario.
