Este viernes comienza en Sudafrica lo que va a ser nuestra pequeña tortura en la redacción durante el próximo mes... El Mundial de Fútbol. Para ir abriendo boca de lo que va a ser una gran cobertura fotográfica de este evento, os presento esta retrospectiva en imágenes de este Mundial de la FIFA. Este post está elaborado con dos paquetes que ha enviado la agencia francesa AFP que ha rebuscado en sus archivos haciendo una selección que nos ha mandado por la línea de actualidad y que no se nos cobra a parte. Todo un gesto de profesionalidad que suele hacer siempre que se acerca un hito histórico. El resto de agencias no han enviado ninguna foto antigua de archivo. EFE no ha enviado ni una sola foto de la selección española de su impresionante archivo a modo de previa o retrospectiva. Una lástima. Me gustaría haber podido mostrar la foto del gol de Zarra, la celebración de los goles del Buitre en Mexico o el codazo a Luis Enrique.

Espero que estas imágenes os traigan recuerdos a algunos y os sirvan para poner imágen a esos momentos del pasado de la historia del fútbol a otros. Viendo la foto que encabeza el post me hago esta pregunta: ¿Pensaban estos señores de los años 30 y que posan con el primer trofeo, que esta competición sobreviviría a una guerra mundial y cumpliría 80 años? ¿Que sería seguida en directo por televisión por milones de personas de todo el mundo? No lo creo.
