Esta pasada madrugada se jugó en Texas el quinto partido de la final de las World Series de baseball. Este es el máximo trofeo de este deporte en Estado Unidos y enfrenta a los ganadores de las dos ligas que existen en este país. Esta final jugada al mejor de siete tuvo como vencedor a los San Francisco Giants 4-1 tras ganar este quinto partido a los Texas Rangers 3-1. El baseball es un deporte poco conocido y practicado en España pero habla lengua hispana en los vestuarios de los USA. Muchos son los jugadores latinos que son estrellas en las ligas de todo el mundo. De este modo, un colombiano apellidado Renteria se llevó el galardon de MVP tras conseguir un homerun de tres carreras cuando había ya dos jugadores eliminados en la entrada. Una jugada que le dió la victoria al equipo de San Francisco.
